Is Anxiety, Stress, or Chronic Pain Showing Up in Your Life?
- Is it hard to control racing thoughts? Do you want to manage when they arrive?
- Do you recognize in yourself a Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) or Going Out (FOGO)? Struggle to say No?
- Really want a new job or a promotion but can't figure out why you don't go for it?
- Do you speak up in ways that make you feel good about yourself? Or do you rarely take chances?
- Are you getting your needs met (work, home, life?) if not, do you know what is holding you back yet?
- Are you the one always making other people happy before yourself?
- Are you really nice to others but can't figure out why they're not nice to you?
- Do people tell you that you're "Too nice for your own good?? Too mean? Too Quiet? Aggressive? Submissive? Are you?
- Do you want to get over your fear of driving, flying, dating, going back to school, confronting an issue, or asking for that promotion?
- Is your body aching or have you been warned of looming chronic issues?
Sound familiar?
You are not alone. Nearly 25% of America was diagnosed with some form of anxiety last year, and if you’ve ever experienced prolonged stress or unhinged pain you only need to look a short time to find someone the same.
So what gives?
In a nutshell, anxiety, stress, and chronic pain is activated by our nervous system; it is not in ‘our head’, but rather throughout the entire body. This is the fight, flight or freeze response that, when left on too often, things become quite difficult to manage. It is not “our head” that needs attention but the connection between the mind and the body.
When we address anxiety, high stress and chronic pain using a mind and body approach, we learn to control what is the very essence of who we are – our thoughts, our emotions and our movements. Because, we cannot control what we are not willing to accept.
What Happens to the Body is Stored in the Mind. And the Body Will Keep Score of what the Mind has Stored."

What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, uses your fingertips to ”tap” on acupressure or meridian points on the hands, face, and body while focusing on the thoughts, feelings, and situations causing distress. This light stimulation helps regulate the nervous system, so you feel calmer and less stressed in a matter of minutes. EFT conquers everything from perfectionism to trust issues to low self-worth to self-sabotage to unhealthy boundaries and limiting beliefs about yourself, others, and your life.
Unlike talk therapy, EFT immediately digs into issues without dragging up all the old “stuff.” In fact, you don’t even have to know the initial event that caused the challenge to see significant results from a few EFT sessions. Although EFT is deceptively simple and may seem a bit woo-woo to some, research proves it works!
